Sekaiichi Hatsukoi Season 2

So… according to they’re planning to make a second season for Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and I’m seriously wondering, if this anime was even popular enough? Was it this well-liked? I can’t belive it, the manga without the stupid side-stories is a lot better, but the anime is just a pain in the ass.

I don’t think I’ll watch it. :/

Oh Ps… “Re: Anime being popular enough”
I think It IS popular ‘alot of fans like us’ is really hoping and wanting for this series to be animated – and are happy that season II is announced..>x<

    • Well, my problem with this anime is that the story holds quite a lot potential, but the anime doesn’t really make any use of this. Besides the flaws, I still like the manga, but I can’t stand the side-stories in the anime. From my point of veiw, they destroy the main story and the main story is what an anime should focus on the most.

Obviously, a lot of people like it. Even more now since a second season was announced. If you don’t like it then don’t watch it. We don’t need to know you’re not going to watch it. Stop complaining.

    • Well, since this is my blog I can very well tell the world that I most likely won’t watch it. I don’t see a problem here. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t like me telling you to stop commenting, because you don’t have to read my blog.

Most prople I’ve talked with were pretty disappointed with this anime and so was I. The manga is actually a pretty decent manga, a bit too much cliché, but quite nice to read.

Well, about the popularity part… the point is, the manga-ka herself is pretty popular right now, even minor and lesser known/popular manga drawn by her, are getting anime-adaptations right know (Hybrid Child), so we can’t completely deny the fact that the industry is trying to milk Nakamura-sensei at the moment. So, is this really the popularity of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi that gives it a second season, or the popularity of the manga-ka herself?
